About
If I could decide to a have a motto for my self, it would be “I am strong because I have endured life’s obstacles.”
Hi, my name is Jillian Phelps, a 39 years old nurse at Mark Spencer General Hospital at California. I am a widow, and a mother of two to Jim, nineteen years old, and Scott, seven years old.
My husband died last year due to traumatic brain injury after he met an accident on the road while driving our family car. My eldest son has been suffering of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus for the past three years, while my youngest son is presently diagnosed with Paget’s disease of the bone.
I know that my situation right now is not what I’ve dreamt of, but still life must go on for our family, especially for my two sons. They are going to school, and I am happy that both of them are being guided very well by their teachers, and even by their closest friends at school.
I have a suitor right now, Raj, a 40-year old Chief executive Officer of a Young’s Wine Company. He was courting me for the past eight months right now, and my kids knew more about him. In fact, they like him and they enjoy his company.
But I cannot assure him if I am still willing to spend the rest of my life with a new man, because at this point, I’m still finding purpose, and I am enjoying the remaining days of my life. I would like to tell Raj that the doctor disclosed to me that I am suffering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
